2. Pilot · Week 2–6

A working proof of concept on real hardware at real signal levels. You see actual data, not slideware, before committing to a roll-out.

3. Roll-out · Week 6–20

Field-grade hardware, OTA-updatable firmware, monitoring and runbooks. We deploy in waves so the first sites stabilise before the rest land.

4. Operate · Ongoing

SLAs on firmware patches, dashboards uptime and field-replaceable spares stocked locally. We treat the fleet, not just the device.

Yes. Source, build scripts, board files and signing-key handover are part of every contract on final payment. You should never be locked into a single vendor for a device you're putting in the field.

Day-to-day: STM32 (F4/L4/H7), ESP32 (and ESP32-S3 for wireless-heavy designs), Microchip PIC for cost-sensitive control, and ARM Cortex-A class for embedded Linux. We choose by power budget, RF requirement and supply-chain availability — not by personal preference.

Yes, and we often prefer this to a rip-and-replace. We've kept Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley Micrologix and Mitsubishi FX lines in service while adding modern MQTT-published telemetry alongside — the operators keep their familiar HMI, and management gets the dashboards they want.

Three questions: how often does data need to leave the device, what's the energy budget, and what's actually live at the deployment site. Cellular wins on coverage. LoRaWAN wins on battery life and dense low-bandwidth deployments. NB-IoT and LTE-M sit between them. We make this call together during scoping, with the costs on the same page.

Yes — small batches by air and larger batches by sea. We handle CE pre-compliance documentation for European customers and FCC equivalents where required. Talk to us early so the certifications track alongside the design rather than after it.
